Smaze

An atmospheric condition characterized by a mixture of smoke and haze, resulting in reduced visibility. This phenomenon occurs when particulate matter from combustion sources, such as wildfires or industrial emissions, combines with existing atmospheric haze. Smaze is distinct from smog, which involves photochemical reactions of pollutants.
