Fine particles

Atmospheric particulate matter with a diameter generally less than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5), which can remain suspended in the air for extended periods. These particles originate from combustion processes, industrial emissions, and atmospheric chemical reactions, and can significantly impact visibility and human health. They are a major component of atmospheric haze and air pollution.
