Haze layer

A stratum of the atmosphere characterized by a high concentration of aerosols and reduced visibility. This layer often forms below a temperature inversion, which traps pollutants and moisture near the surface. The thickness and density of a haze layer can fluctuate with meteorological conditions and emission sources.
