Haze aloft

Atmospheric obscurity caused by fine dry particles suspended in the air at altitudes above the surface. This phenomenon reduces horizontal visibility and can create a milky or bluish appearance in the sky. It forms when aerosols are lifted by convection or advected from distant sources, often settling into stable layers.
