Two stream
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009856
A simplified radiative transfer model that divides radiation into two streams: one propagating upward and one propagating downward. This approach is used to approximate the complex angular distribution of radiation within an atmosphere or cloud layer. It is often employed in climate models and remote sensing applications due to its computational efficiency.
