Circulation sub

A downhole tool run as part of a tubing string that allows fluid to be diverted from the tubing bore into the annulus, or vice versa, by opening and closing ports. This sub facilitates fluid circulation for wellbore cleaning, spotting treatment fluids, or equalizing pressures. It is typically activated by dropping a ball or applying hydraulic pressure.
