Inflow control valve

A remotely adjustable downhole device that actively manages the flow of fluids from specific reservoir intervals into the production tubing. It allows operators to control the inflow profile along a horizontal well, mitigating water or gas coning and maximizing hydrocarbon recovery. These valves are typically actuated hydraulically or electrically from the surface.
