Pass

A single trip of a wireline logging tool assembly up or down the wellbore to acquire data. A main pass is the primary log recorded while pulling the tool up the hole at a steady speed, while a repeat pass is run over a shorter interval to verify measurement repeatability. Additional passes can be made to acquire different types of data or to re-log a section of interest.
