Permanent well monitoring
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002749
The continuous, long-term collection of downhole and surface data from a producing well using permanently installed sensors. These systems measure parameters like pressure, temperature, flow rate, and fluid composition in real time without interrupting production. Data is transmitted to the surface via electrical or fiber-optic cables, providing a constant stream of information for reservoir management and production analysis.
