Downhole sensors
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001154
Electronic devices installed within the wellbore to measure parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow rates at specific depths. These sensors transmit real-time data to the surface for analysis and operational adjustments. Permanent downhole gauges provide continuous monitoring throughout the life of the well, while temporary sensors are deployed for specific testing operations.
