Memory gauge

A downhole electronic instrument that records pressure and temperature data over time and stores it in internal memory for later retrieval and analysis. These gauges are typically deployed on wireline or coiled tubing and left in the well for a period, then recovered to download the data. They provide a continuous record of well conditions during testing or production.
