Physics-informed ai
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002781
A type of artificial intelligence that incorporates principles of physics, such as fluid dynamics or thermodynamics, directly into the machine learning model's architecture or loss function. This integration guides the model to produce solutions that are not only data-consistent but also physically plausible, even with sparse or noisy data. Unlike purely data-driven models, it constrains predictions to adhere to known physical laws, reducing the need for massive training datasets.
