Computed tomography scan

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000077

A non-destructive imaging technique that uses X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of an object's internal structure. In additive manufacturing, a Computed Tomography (CT) scan is used for quality control, defect detection, and dimensional verification of printed parts. This method can reveal internal voids, cracks, or porosity that are not visible externally.
