Polymethyl methacrylate
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000296
A transparent thermoplastic known for its excellent optical clarity, stiffness, and scratch resistance. Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is used in additive manufacturing for applications requiring glass-like properties, such as optical components, transparent models, and aesthetic parts. It can be processed using stereolithography (SLA) as a resin or fused deposition modeling (FDM) as a filament.
