Age-specific birth rate

The number of live births per unit of time for a specific age group of females within a population. This demographic indicator quantifies the reproductive output of women at different ages, providing detailed information about fertility patterns. It is calculated by dividing the number of births to women in a particular age range by the total number of women in that age range.
