Leslie matrix
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006519
A discrete, age-structured model used in population ecology to project the growth of a population over time. It represents the population as a vector of age classes and uses a matrix containing age-specific survival and fecundity rates to calculate the population's future state. This matrix is a fundamental tool for analyzing population dynamics and predicting changes in population size and age distribution.
