Population dynamics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009271
The study of how populations change in size, age structure, and distribution over time, influenced by factors such as birth rates, death rates, immigration, and emigration. This field analyzes the interactions between populations and their environment, including resource availability and predation. Mathematical models are often used to predict future population trends.
