Stable age distribution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011264
A demographic state within a population where the proportion of individuals in each age group remains constant over time, assuming unchanging age-specific birth and death rates. This distribution reflects a population that has reached a steady state in its growth pattern. Such a distribution is a theoretical concept often used in population ecology and demography.
