Atomic mass
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000897
The mass of an atom, typically expressed in unified atomic mass units (u). This value represents the total mass of protons, neutrons, and electrons in a specific isotope of an element. The atomic mass of an element listed on the periodic table is the weighted average of the masses of its naturally occurring isotopes.
