Digit span test

A neuropsychological test used to assess verbal short-term memory and working memory capacity. Participants are asked to recall a sequence of numbers, either in the order presented (forward digit span) or in reverse order (backward digit span). The length of the sequence successfully recalled indicates the individual's memory span, which typically ranges from five to nine digits.
