Dysmorphogenesis

The process of abnormal development of form or structure during embryogenesis, leading to congenital malformations. This deviation from normal morphological development can be caused by genetic mutations, environmental teratogens, or a combination of factors. It results in birth defects affecting different body parts or organ systems.
