Dysostosis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003529
A disorder characterized by abnormal ossification or defective formation of bone, often affecting specific bones or groups of bones rather than the entire skeleton. This condition results from localized disturbances in the mesenchymal condensation that precedes cartilage and bone formation. It can lead to skeletal deformities and functional impairments.
