The SI prefix used to denote a factor of 10², or one hundred. It is represented by the symbol 'h' and is attached to a unit of measure to indicate a multiple of that unit. For example, one hectopascal (hPa) is equal to 100 pascals, a unit commonly used in meteorology for atmospheric pressure.
