A non-SI unit of pressure, defined as exactly 100,000 pascals (Pa). While not part of the International System of Units, it is widely accepted for use with SI units due to its convenience in many scientific and engineering contexts. One bar is approximately equal to the average atmospheric pressure at sea level.
