Standard atmosphere
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011281
A unit of pressure defined as 101 325 pascals (Pa). This value was historically based on the average atmospheric pressure at sea level. It is equivalent to 760 millimeters of mercury (mmHg) at 0 °C and is often used as a reference point in physical and chemical calculations.
