Bar test

A catalepsy test in which a mouse is set on a horizontal bar roughly 2.5 cm above the ground and the time it stays motionless is recorded. Remaining immobile for more than 20 seconds is typically taken to indicate catalepsy. The same bar can also serve to evaluate motor coordination.
