Treadmill test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012277
A diagnostic procedure used to assess cardiovascular function and exercise tolerance, where an individual walks or runs on a motorized treadmill while physiological parameters are monitored. In neurotoxicology, it can also be employed to evaluate motor coordination, balance, and endurance in animal models exposed to neurotoxic agents. Performance metrics include speed, distance, and time to exhaustion.
