Rotarod test

A behavioral assessment used in neurotoxicology and pharmacology to evaluate motor coordination, balance, and motor learning in rodents. Animals are placed on a rotating rod, and the time they can remain on the rod without falling is measured. This test is sensitive to neurological impairments caused by neurotoxicants or central nervous system disorders.
