Tetrad test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011902
A neurobehavioral assessment used in toxicology to evaluate the effects of a substance on the central nervous system in rodents. It involves observing four specific behavioral endpoints: spontaneous motor activity, ptosis (drooping eyelids), catalepsy (immobility), and loss of righting reflex. The test provides a rapid screening for neurotoxic effects.
