Tail suspension test

A behavioral test used in psychopharmacology to assess antidepressant-like activity in rodents. Animals are suspended by their tails, and the duration of immobility is measured, reflecting a state of behavioral despair. This test is a widely accepted model for screening compounds with potential antidepressant effects.
