Nine-hole box test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007946
A rodent attention test with a row of nine holes arranged in an arc, usually with five of them open. A brief light shows in one open hole, and the animal earns a food pellet by poking its nose into the lit hole. Accuracy, omissions and response latency are scored as measures of attention, in the manner of the five-choice task from which the test was derived.
