Glove box

A sealed enclosure equipped with gloves built into its walls, allowing manipulation of materials within a controlled atmosphere without direct contact. It provides a barrier to protect operators from hazardous substances or to protect sensitive materials from contamination by the external environment. Glove boxes are commonly used for handling radioactive isotopes, toxic chemicals, or oxygen-sensitive compounds.
