Autoradiograph

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001001

A photographic image produced by the radiation emitted from a radioactive substance itself, without external radiation exposure. This image is formed when the radioactive material is placed in direct contact with a radiation-sensitive emulsion, such as photographic film. The technique is widely used in molecular biology to visualize labeled molecules.
