Radiograph
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009886
A photographic image produced by the passage of ionizing radiation, such as X-rays or gamma rays, through an object onto a radiation-sensitive film or detector. The image reveals internal structures or defects within the object based on differential absorption of the radiation. This technique is extensively used in medical diagnostics and industrial non-destructive testing.
