Autopsy

A postmortem medical examination of a body to determine the cause of death, assess the extent of disease, or evaluate the effects of medical treatment. This procedure involves a detailed external and internal examination of the deceased, often including microscopic analysis of tissues and toxicological studies. Autopsies are performed for medical, legal, or educational purposes.
