Neuropathological examination

The macroscopic and microscopic assessment of nervous system tissues, typically post-mortem, to identify structural abnormalities, cellular changes, or disease processes. This examination involves staining techniques and microscopy to diagnose neurological disorders and understand their underlying pathology. It is a key method for confirming neurotoxic effects.
