Neuropathy

Damage or dysfunction of one or more nerves, resulting in numbness, tingling, muscle weakness, and pain in the affected area. It involves the deterioration of nerve cells or their myelin sheaths, disrupting the transmission of signals between the brain and the rest of the body. Neuropathy is classified by the type of nerve affected, such as peripheral, autonomic, or cranial neuropathy.
