Polyneuropathy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009213
A generalized disorder affecting multiple peripheral nerves throughout the body, resulting in symmetrical neurological deficits. This condition involves damage to the axons, myelin sheath, or both, impairing nerve signal transmission. It can manifest as sensory loss, muscle weakness, or autonomic dysfunction, and its causes include metabolic diseases, toxins, and genetic factors.
