Neurotoxic

Describing a substance or agent that is poisonous or destructive to nerve tissue, causing damage to the brain, spinal cord, or peripheral nerves. Exposure to neurotoxic agents can lead to a range of neurological symptoms, from subtle cognitive impairments to severe paralysis or death. Examples include heavy metals and certain pesticides.
