Biopsy

The medical procedure of removing a small sample of tissue or cells from a living organism for microscopic examination and diagnostic analysis. This allows for the identification of diseases, such as cancer, or the assessment of tissue damage. The collected sample is typically preserved and stained before being viewed under a microscope by a pathologist.
