Neuroblastoma

A malignant tumor that arises from immature nerve cells, or neuroblasts, most frequently originating in the adrenal glands or sympathetic nervous system. This cancer primarily affects infants and young children, often presenting as an abdominal mass. Diagnosis involves imaging, biopsy, and analysis of catecholamine metabolites in urine.
