Giga

A decimal prefix in the International System of Units (SI) representing a factor of 10^9. This prefix is used to denote a quantity that is one billion times larger than the base unit. For example, a gigahertz (GHz) is 10^9 hertz, and a gigameter (Gm) is 10^9 meters.
