Femto

A prefix in the International System of Units (SI) denoting a factor of 10^-15. It is used to form decimal submultiples of SI units, indicating extremely small quantities. For example, a femtosecond (fs) is 10^-15 seconds, and a femtometer (fm) is 10^-15 meters, often used in nuclear physics to describe atomic nuclei dimensions.
