Fenestranes
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013095
Polycyclic compounds characterized by a central carbon atom that is common to four rings, forming a structure resembling a window pane. The rings are arranged in a spiro fashion around this central atom. These compounds exhibit unusual bonding and strain properties due to their highly constrained geometry.
