A decimal submultiple prefix in the International System of Units (SI) representing a factor of 10^-24. It is used to denote extremely small quantities, such as the mass of subatomic particles or the dimensions of fundamental physical phenomena. For instance, one yoctometer (ym) is 10^-24 meters.
