Gigantism

A medical condition characterized by excessive growth and height, resulting from overproduction of growth hormone during childhood or adolescence, before the growth plates in bones have fused. This leads to abnormally large stature and often other health complications. It is distinct from acromegaly, which occurs after puberty.
