Turner syndrome

A chromosomal disorder affecting females, characterized by the absence of all or part of one X chromosome. This condition results in a range of developmental and medical problems, including short stature, ovarian dysfunction leading to sterility, and heart defects. Diagnosis often occurs during childhood or puberty based on physical characteristics and genetic testing.
