Trisomy 18
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012304
A genetic disorder caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 18 in some or all cells of the body. This chromosomal abnormality, also known as Edwards syndrome, results in severe developmental delays and congenital malformations affecting multiple organ systems.
