Pesticide

Any substance or mixture of substances intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any pest. This includes insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and rodenticides, which are used in agriculture, public health, and households. The use and regulation of pesticides are governed by agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
