Physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008955
A mathematical modeling approach that uses physiological and biochemical parameters to predict the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) of chemicals in biological systems. This method integrates organ volumes, blood flows, and tissue-specific enzyme activities to simulate chemical disposition. It provides a mechanistic understanding of chemical behavior within the body.
